Shipping Policies & Instructions
Our primary delivery zone is the U.S. – Lower 48 States. Please email us before you order if you have other delivery needs.
All items are shipped with 100% insurance coverage, but only if the guidelines below are followed.
All of our pinball machines are shipped by freight carriers directly from our distributor. Since freight shipments are quite different than UPS, FedEx, or USPS shipments, we want to ensure that you understand the shipping procedures to avoid surprises at the time of delivery. Please read this entire page, as important instructions appear throughout the text.
The trucking company will contact you to set up a delivery appointment.
They will provide an estimated delivery window of about 2-5 hours.
All deliveries occur Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
It is important to keep your scheduled appointment. If you miss your scheduled appointment, the driver will need to reschedule the delivery from the local terminal and they will charge you a redelivery charge.
Shipping is normally 10 business days on most pinball machines. All shipping schedules are estimates only.
Once the shipment reaches your delivery address:
The item(s) will be delivered from the rear of the truck at your address.
Curbside Delivery
The freight carrier will remove the merchandise from the back of the truck and place it on the ground. You will be required to accept and remove the merchandise from that point forward. The freight company will not take it inside your home or business. Because a pinball machine and its packaging are oversized, heavy, and often difficult to handle, we strongly recommend that you have help available (friends, family, co-workers, etc.) to move it to its final location.
In-Home Delivery
In-home delivery adds the extra step of the freight shipper moving the pinball machine and/or other items from the truck to a location on the entry level within your home or business.
In-Home Delivery with Stairs
As you've already guessed, this option provides for the freight shippers to take the additional step of carrying the merchandise up or down stairs within your home or business.
Before you sign for the shipment, you must inspect it:
Before you sign for the delivery, it is important to inspect the pinball machine packaging for any potential damage that may have occurred while in transit. Please keep in mind that the packaging normally shows some minor wear on the outside. If there are visible indications of damage on the box or any other thing that makes you think the product could have been jeopardized but still want to receive it please note these observations on the Bill of Lading in the event a freight claim needs to be filed at a later time, but contact the distributor immediately upon these observations. The distributor will not be able to make the claim, but will be glad to assist you through the process.
If you see any visible damage or if any cartons are missing, refuse delivery and contact our distributor immediately via the information affixed to the shipping carton or enclosed with the shipping label. They will immediately arrange for a new item to be shipped to you. Any damages must be reported directly to our distributor within 5 days of receipt of goods.
If you take possession of (claim) the pinball machine and/or other item(s), you are solely responsible for all return shipping charges if the item is returned.
If any minor damage has occurred that you believe can be replaced with parts, note the damage on the delivery receipt and accept the item. Then, call our distributor so those parts can be ordered and sent to you.
If the driver is in a hurry and does not allow time for inspection, simply refuse the shipment and call our distributor.
If inspection is impractical at time of delivery:
If you are unable to fully inspect the entire contents upon delivery, you must write "SUBJECT TO FURTHER INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt. Doing this ensures that our distributor is able to file a proper cancelled damage claim with the carrier, if needed.
If the driver does not allow you to sign the delivery receipt via the above-mentioned procedures, refuse delivery and call our distributor.
Deliveries that are signed free and clear of damages will be your responsibility; no exceptions.
